About the Kayaking
Our kayaking trips take place at Kavvayi, the island-dotted backwaters just north of Valiyaparamba, between Nileshwar and Payyanur. Kavvayi is one of the quietest stretches of water in North Kerala, with small islands, mangroves and coconut groves all around, which makes it a lovely place to paddle.
Kayaking is the closest way to experience the backwaters: you move at your own pace, close to the water, past fishing canoes and village life. It suits beginners and experienced paddlers alike and pairs well with a houseboat cruise on the same day. Call us to check timings and availability.
